If you love outings and photography, join Smiley China, an interactive program launched by National Geographic Traveler (NGT) magazine.

The program, which will last from June to September, invites travelers across the country to share their stories or photos on the road. Through the lens could be a child's smiling face, a bowl of noodles, a casual talk with local people or a great scenic spot. NGT will ask netizens to vote on the submissions and in August the top 10 smiley travelers will be selected based on the number of votes they get. NGT said the magazine aims to promote eco-tourism in China and encourage travelers to protect environment in destinations.
