Gold output increases
China's output of gold hit 26.44 tons in May, the National Development and Reform Commission, the country's top planner, said on its website.
The commission said total gold output in the first five months of this year stood at 120.24 tons, up 13.84 percent, or about 14 tons, from the same period last year.
