Unsafe toys recalled

A toy factory in Linyi city of Shandong province started to recall 10,176 pieces of rubber toys produced between November 2007 and last April for safety concerns, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) said yesterday.

The toys, with a model number of "NO 6226B", produced by the Xinhua toy factory, threatened to choke children, as they contained small parts that could be swallowed. Affected consumers can get refunds at stores they purchased the toy on show of a receipt.
