KINGSTON: Olympic 200m gold medalists Usain Bolt and Veronica Campbell-Brown both booked their places for August's World Championships by winning Jamaican national titles on Sunday.
Bolt, the 200m world record holder, won with a time of 20.25 in what was his first outing this year in 200m. Steve Mullings was second with 20.40 with Marvin Anderson the third qualifier for the World Championships with a time of 20.63.
In the women's race, Campbell-Brown, 200m champion in the past two Olympics, held off rival and 100m gold medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser to win in 22.40.
