Octavia Mingrui: rapid climb to A-class top tier

April sales of Skoda's Octavia Mingrui jumped to 8,000 units, edging it into top 3 in the A-class Chinese auto market.

The figure helped its sales surpass 120,000 vehicles over last two years, making the Octavia Mingrui tone of the best-0positioned new models on the Chinese car market.

After its launch on June 6, 2007, sales of the Octavia Mingrui in the first year surged to more than 60,000 units, with the monthly record 6,000 units holding until this year as it continued its rise in the A-class car market.
