Owl trader given reduced sentence for good attitude

A man was given a reduced sentence for buying and selling wild owls in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, on Tuesday apparently because the court felt he gave a hoot.

He was sentenced to five years in prison and was fined 5,000 yuan ($732) by the city's Nansha district people's court.
