Controversy dogs young mayor

The election of 29-year-old Zhou Senfeng as the mayor of Yicheng city, arguably the youngest in the country to hold that post, should have come as a breath of fresh air for the public. But that did not happen. Instead, the nation's Internet-savvy population is now accusing him of plagiarism.

A netizen called "Mu Xia You Wen" recently discovered that a paper published by Zhou in 2004 on Commercial Research was "too similar" to another 2002 research to be passed off as a mere coincidence.
