Kids poisoned, 1 dead

A toddler was killed while 20 other kids between the ages of two and five were hospitalized after they were sickened by a highly toxic rat poison in a south China village nursery school, an official said yesterday.

Seven kids are said to be in a serious condition, with three of them in intensive care at the Guigang People's Hospital, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, said Qin Mingda, a city official.
