Cops smash drug network

Shanghai police yesterday claimed to have busted a drug-trafficking network operating across two provinces, arresting seven suspects after a three-month operation. More than 25 kg of ketamine and Ice, as well as 100,000 yuan ($14,700) in cash was recovered from the suspects, police said. The group trafficked drugs to Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces as well as Shanghai from an underground factory in Shanwei, Guangdong province, police said.
