If at first you don't succeed, try, try again

Chinese artist Yang Fudong applies one simple principle of faith to his work: the only way to learn in life is by making mistakes.

"I hope I will not be afraid of making mistakes and can face them bravely," he said.

Yang loudly trumpets this belief in his new solo exhibition at the Shanghai Zendai Museum of Modern Art. The show, called Dawn Mist, Separation Faith, features a unique collection of his most recent film and photographic work.
