Terminator Salvation

Die-hard Terminator fans are likely to be disappointed with the fourth installment of the franchise. With Arnold Schwarzenegger gone, Dark Knight star Christian Bale delivers a rather stale performance as John Connor, leader of the resistance.

Connor is bent on leading the fight against rebel force Skynet after it launches a nuclear holocaust that almost wipes out the entire human race in 2018.

Unfortunately, Bale's performance is about as robotic as the monstrosities he battles in the movie. Bale's character takes unnecessary risks, all the while delivering his lines in a deadpan, lifeless manner - a far cry from the original Connor.
