Young New York singer Chris Garneau has a melancholy and sentimental style. Accompanied by the piano and cello, Garneau sings of memories of the past and hopes for the future. His first album, Music for Tourists, came out in 2007, and includes Black & Blue and Between the Bars. For the video clip of his song Relief, Garneau plays restaurant waiter, shuttling like a lonely heart among the diners.
