9 killed in road crash

Nine people were killed and four injured when a motorcycle collided with a minibus on a highway in east China's Jiangxi province yesterday, the local government said.

The accident happened at 1:46 am in Yichun city, on state highway 320 that links Shanghai with the China-Myanmar border in the southwestern Yunnan province. The four injured, including two children, are out of danger, a Yichun city government spokesman said.
