In 1998 Yan Hong created Sonicbbs M65 to share his passion for military life with his fellow Chinese, despite the fact that he has no military background and has never spent a day in an army camp. It now ranks as the biggest military enthusiasts' club in Shanghai with more than 300,000 registered members nationwide.
