When Avis began operating at its new Nanjing branch on June 3 it held a commemoration ceremony with Jin Ling Hotel Management Corporation to sign a contract binding the two industries of hotel management and car rental service.
Avis stands out in the Chinese mainland due to the number of its operating sites. It also has more cars than any other international car rental company in China and offers the best service. The Nanjing branch marks the company's 25th operating site in China and the 18th Chinese city in which it has set foot. Future expansion is currently geared towards next year's Shanghai Expo.
Avis encourages interaction between different operating spots, especially in the Yangtze River Delta region, where various cities share and distribute products and services. It has already expanded its operating areas from Shanghai to Nanjing and Hangzhou, from Beijing to Tianjin, and from Guangzhou to Shenzhen and Dongguan.
