Economies of scale
The new BHG Kitchen is making buffets ever so affordable - lunch is 58 yuan per person and dinner 88 yuan. There is a range of food, including seafood, meats, desserts and drinks. The snow crab leg was not their best dish but plenty of other options were good value, including the salmon, tuna sashimi, sushi, prawns, oysters, snails and shrimps. The noodles with three choices of sauces also went down well.
Also on offer were several tasty Chinese hot dishes, Cantonese-style meat cuts, meat roasts, plus meat and vegetable, served in terrines and ready to be prepared right away in the kitchen.
Fresh vegetables and salads complemented the mains, followed by a choice of cakes for dessert, plus a free flow of soft drinks, beer, and local red wine. The fresh strawberry milk drink was a must, made with milk imported all the way from New Zealand.
