Penguins stay in Stanley Cup hunt

PITTSBURGH: The Pittsburgh Penguins kept their NHL title hopes alive on Tuesday, beating Detroit 2-1 to force a deciding game seven in the Stanley Cup finals.

Jordan Staal and Tyler Kennedy scored for Pittsburgh, Staal in the first minute of the second period and Kennedy at 5:35 of the third.

Marc-Andre Fleury, who was pulled in Saturday's 5-0 pounding by the Red Wings, made 25 saves for Pittsburgh, including a breakaway opportunity by Dan Cleary in the waning moments.
