China Daily | Updated: 2009-06-10 07:59

WASHINGTON: Amid a shifting US media landscape, a new website has gone online offering an innovative platform for journalists and advertisers and pledging to break down "walls" with their audience.

"True/Slant is an original content news network," said Lewis Dvorkin, the founder and chief executive of trueslant.com, which was officially launched in beta, or test, version on Monday.

"We are tailored to what we call the entrepreneurial journalist," said Dvorkin, whose 35 years of media experience includes stints at Internet portal AOL, Forbes magazine, Newsweek, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
