Lukoil profit tumbles

OAO Lukoil, Russia's largest non- state oil producer, said first-quarter profit tumbled 71 percent after crude prices plunged.

Net income dropped to $905 million from $3.16 billion in the year-earlier period, the Moscow-based company said in a statement yesterday. That beat the $880 million median forecast of eight analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
