10 years for robber who targeted taxi drivers

A man in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, months after he robbed two taxi drivers a combined 360 yuan ($53).

Ren Yanan, 22, robbed the two drivers within a period of 40 minutes one night in January. He used a knife. He took 100 yuan from one driver at about 2 am and got 260 yuan and a mobile phone from the other driver whom he injured.
