Pop walks free after police destroy poppy plants
A farmer surnamed Qian who planted poppies in his garden was allowed to walk free due to his age.
Police in Jiangyan, Jiangsu province, destroyed the 141 poppy plants. Qian's daughter-in-law said he had planted the poppies in order to treat his body pain.
