China Children's Art Theater's musical drama Malan Flower has been the theater's representative show since its establishment in 1956, and has entertained three generations of Chinese audiences.
Malan Flower is a kind of miraculous flower that can help people fulfill their hopes. On the foot of Malan Mountain, covered by beautiful Malan flowers, lives Xiao Lan and her husband Ma Lang, the God of Flowers. A greedy Old Cat wants to steal the miraculous flower. He makes use of Da Lan, Xiao Lan's lazy older sister to kill Xiao Lan. However, Malan Flower saves Xiao Lan.
