After flexing his vocal muscles for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, Jackie Chan may be singing again for the 16th Asian Games, to be held in Guangzhou next year.

The 55-year-old actor, best known for his daredevil stunts, will record his entries for the official song contest for the 16th Asian Games.

"I am happy to be regarded as a singer, though I might not be good at singing," he says. "I am an ambassador of the Asian Games to support original Chinese music. Like the Olympics, the Asian Games will draw many original singers and songwriters. They form the backbone for the development of mainland music."
