Insurer hikes capital

Aegon--CNOOC Life Insurance Co has just received approval from the insurance regulator to increase its registered capital to 1.35 billion yuan, up 150 million yuan. The capital boost, according to a statement from the insurer, is to make the company's future development more solid. And the insurer plans to add another 100 million yuan to its registered capital later this year.
