Dalai Lama going to Paris

A Tibetan representative in France says the Dalai Lama will likely be received by the Paris mayor during an upcoming visit to the French capital.

Wangpo Bashi, of the Office of Tibet in Paris, says he believes Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe will host a small ceremony to honor the Tibetan spiritual leader, who was made an honorary citizen of Paris last year. Bashi declined yesterday to provide any further details.
