Vocational employment

The average employment rate of secondary vocational education was 95.77 percent last year in spite of the economic downturn, a senior official of Ministry of Education (MOE) said yesterday in Beijing.

"It was the fourth year that the average rate broke through 95 percent, which indicated that our vocational education reform met the market's needs," Wang Jiping, the vice-chief of vocational education department under MOE, told a press meeting yesterday.
