Angry bomber gets 6 years

Guangzhou's Haizhou District Court yesterday sentenced 26-year-old Huang Xin to six years in prison for setting a "self-made time bomb" on a city bus, causing an explosion downtown last August.

Huang, an avid gambler who frequently played the lottery, was "angry with the Nanfeng Metropolis Daily, a local newspaper, which he misunderstood to be a source for lottery tip-offs" and decided to blow up some journalists.
