Tao is PPLive co-CEO
Chinese P2P video vendor Synacast, better known under the name of its video platform PPLive, has appointed former Microsoft Online Services executive C. Vincent Tao as co-CEO of PPLive.
Tao will share the position with PPLive founder Yao Xin, who previously served as CEO. At Microsoft, Tao was responsible for development of global online service products and business strategy, as well as leading operation and marketing of Virtual Earth and mobile search for the Asia-Pacific region.
