Beer we go

DK1308 German Restaurant and Beerhouse (DK1308 皇冠自酿啤酒坊) is holding a beer festival that is on until the end of this month. It has organized an Irish band to play every night, besides hosting a concert by Chinese singer Chang Kuan on May 30.

A series of promotional activities are aimed at attracting crowds to sample the eatery's freshly brewed German beer. Sundays and Mondays have been designated Ladies Night with a free cocktail served from 7-9 pm. Tuesday and Friday nights are "beer king's night", when one can spend 150 yuan per person, and drink as much beer as one wants. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the restaurant offers a European style set meal, comprising an appetizer, a salad, a beef fillet, seared sea bass, and a dessert.

The restaurant's three freshly brewed beers are the lager, dark rye beer, and traditional wheat beer. They come in 0.3, half-liter, and one liter mugs, and cost 48, 58, and 128 yuan, respectively.
