Haikou, capital of Hainan province, is bracing itself for a range of possible problems through a series of disaster-prevention rehearsals aimed at helping residents practice the best way to deal with floods, accidents, earthquakes, fire, food poisoning and pollution during the upcoming season of rainstorms and floods on the island.
