China Daily | Updated: 2009-05-20 08:13

A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S, owner of the world's largest container line, said Chief Financial Officer Soeren Thorup Soerensen will quit for health reasons, it's fourth partner to depart in less than two years.

The CFO will leave on May 31 and the Copenhagen-based company, Denmark's biggest, hasn't chosen a replacement, Maersk said yesterday.

"For some time, the heavy workload has been damaging to my health," Soerensen, 43, said in a separate statement posted on Maersk's website.
