New weather satellite
China's new geo-stationary meteorological satellite, Fengyun-2E, was delivered to the China Meteorological Administration yesterday.
Fengyun-2E, launched on December 23 on a Long March-3A carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan province, is designed to monitor the weather and environment.
