US keeps door open for talks

China Daily | Updated: 2009-05-16 07:58

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday that there was an "open door" to resume Six-Party Talks, but the US isn't poised to make concessions to get Pyongyang back to the negotiation table.

"We intend to have an open door for a return to the Six-Party Talks," Clinton was quoted as saying.

"So the ball is in the DPRK court and we are not concerned about chasing after the DPRK and offering concessions to the DPRK," she said.
