When the nation was on its knees, mourning the death of the earthquake victims last year, Shao Liyong, the then director of the bureau of industry and commerce of Binzhou, Shandong province, used public money to organize a leisure tour. Only six months after being sacked, he is back in the government, says an article in Zhujian Evening News. Excerpt:

Shao Liyong, the "cold-blooded director", has resumed office as the director of the bureau of industry and commerce of Weihai, Shandong province, only six months after his dismissal.

Recently, he somehow found space in local newspapers and even chaired a press conference.
