Glazing over Liling's glory

Nearly 100 pieces of Liling under-glazed porcelain are on show at the Capital Museum.

Liling is a small town in eastern Hunan province, which has abundant reserves of clay. Different from traditional Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, Liling's is under-glazed and famous for being multi-colored. The exhibition is divided into three parts, and includes items produced in the late Qing Dynasty, household porcelains and the latest styles of Liling porcelain.
