Scottish Ballet stages two shows, Carmen and Pennies from Heaven, accompanied by the Shanghai Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Carmen is Bizet's famous opera; Pennies from Heaven was adapted from a popular TV drama about an aspiring musician working in a music shop, and borrows elements from American pop music and movies of the 1930s.
