China shares decline
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 23.88 points, or 0.9 percent, to close at 2,639.89 yesterday, dropping from the highest level since Aug 7.
The CSI 300 Index, measuring exchanges in Shanghai and Shenzhen, slid 0.8 percent to end the day at 2,792.60.
