Doctor held on child sex suspicions

Philippine police have arrested a doctor working for the World Health Organization (WHO) in Manila on suspicion of child sex offences, officials said yesterday.

The doctor, an Australian, was caught by police on Friday night while he was with a 12-year-old boy in a car parked in Manila's business district, said Raul Castaneda, head of the police criminal investigation group.
