Fueled by saving others

Zhou Qingyang was not surprised to find the man he had saved from last year's quake working side by side with him.

"If I were him, I'd probably do the same," Zhou says.

The 30-year-old fireman from the Shanghai Firefighter Brigade was more than happy to learn that Jiang Yuhang, one of the quake survivors he had helped pull out of debris in Yingxiu township at the quake epicenter of Wenchuan county, had become a comrade.
