Ranieri safe until end of season: Juve

MILAN: Claudio Ranieri's position as Juventus coach is safe until the end of the season, chief executive Jean Claude Blanc said on Tuesday.

Third-placed Juve failed to win for a fifth straight Serie A game on Sunday when a stoppage-time equalizer gave lowly Lecce a 2-2 draw in Turin.

Newspaper reports said Ranieri was on the brink of being sacked amid speculation there was a dressing room mutiny by some players at halftime.
