Judges, procurators get new uniforms
China's court and procuratorate officials began wearing new uniforms on Tuesday.
Judges, assistant judges and court clerks now wear dark blue jackets and trousers with light grey shirts, while procurators and their assistants and clerks are clad in green uniforms with cream shirts.
"The new uniforms are intended to maintain the prestige of the court and procuratorate and lend effective aid to the exercise of the rights of trial and prosecution." A spokesman for Beijing's legal authorities said.
