1,000 people rescue thief from under culvert
A thief who fled into a culvert was rescued after more than 1,000 police officers, firefighters, medical personnel and residents spent nine hours looking for him.
The thief surnamed Li was unconscious under the narrow passageway and thanked police when he woke up in the hospital in Puning county, Guangdong province, on Monday.
