Special guest for Zuma

A special representative of President Hu Jintao will attend the inauguration of South Africa's new president Jacob Zuma on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

At the invitation of the South African government, Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, will attend the ceremony, said spokesman Ma Zhaoxu at a press briefing.
