When Antonio Ju graduated from college and started looking for work, he chose to stay and build his career in his hometown of Suzhou, Jiangsu province. Nine years on, his decision has proved the right one.
Now a department manager of an industrial tools and machine manufacturer, he plans to marry at the end of the year and is even considering buying a second house across Jinji Lake.
"I'm glad to have been a pioneer of sorts," said the 32-year-old, adding: "The opportunities offered by the international environment here are still a major part of the attraction."
