Special students channel

China Central Television (CCTV) launched a special digital cable TV channel especially for high school students, their teachers and parents yesterday. Shi Xiaoqiang, one of the senior executives of the channel, said: "Outstanding teachers and education experts of the country will be invited to give lectures on a range of subjects."

The channel will also air programs on juvenile psychology for teachers and parents, he said.
