Navies capture 14 pirates
The French and Seychelles navies captured 14 pirates yesterday.
The French frigate Nivose captured 11 pirates early yesterday near the Seychelles waters, after two small skiffs attacked it, apparently thinking the warship was a merchant vessel. The Seychelles also announced that it had apprehended three suspected Somali pirates in its vast exclusive economic zone.
