Barbie forever

Thousands of Barbie dolls are currently on display at the world's largest Barbie doll exhibition in Beijing. It will run until May 10 at the Beijing World Art Museum.

The Barbie world-tour exhibition is aimed at celebrating the 50th anniversary of Barbie's birth. Some 2,100 items of Barbie dolls from 139 collections are displayed, including the Princess, Wedding, Holiday angel and Hollywood series.

The show, which has been staged in 35 countries, started in Chongqing, and then moved on to Qingdao, Changsha, Hangzhou, Kunming, Shanghai before arriving in Beijing. Visitors will also be entertained with a film show featuring Barbie dolls, talent shows and contests on outfit design.
