Follow the drums

Keep step with original African dance at the Beijing World Park, this May Day.

The eight artists of the dancing troupe from Uganda will present scenes of hunting, plowing, sowing, harvesting and worshiping through their rhythmic movements. Wearing fur waist-pads and feathered hats, and holding hand-made weapons and tools, the dancers recreate their native place in the park.

The holiday will also see performances from Russia and Thailand on stage.
