SEOUL: South Korea's ex-president Roh Moo-Hyun was questioned by prosecutors yesterday about a multi-million dollar bribery scandal, becoming the third former Korean leader to face a graft probe.
"It is shameful," a sombre Roh said upon arrival at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in Seoul after a bus journey of more than five hours from his retirement home.
Roh, accompanied by his aides and lawyers, declined further comment to dozens of reporters shouting questions as he walked in. The 62-year-old has been summoned as a suspect but prosecutors have not yet decided whether to arrest him.
