Cnooc Q1 revenue down

Cnooc Ltd, China's biggest offshore oil and gas producer by output, yesterday said its first-quarter revenue fell 42 percent from a year earlier on lower oil prices. Revenue for the three months was 13.95 billion yuan, down from 24.03 billion yuan in the same period in 2008. The company didn't give a net profit figure for the period.
